- General Donations (Default): Unless you, the donor, explicitly specify that your contribution is a “Corpus Donation” with a particular purpose, all donations received will be treated as General Donations. This means the Trust reserves the right to allocate these funds to any of its charitable objectives (such as the Old Age Home, Goshala, Sewing Classes, or administrative costs) where the need is greatest, ensuring the efficient continuation of our overall mission.
- Corpus Donations (Donor Specified): If you choose to designate your donation as a “Corpus Donation” and provide specific written instructions for its use (e.g., “Corpus Donation only for Goshala Fodder,” “Corpus Donation only for Old Age Home Medical Expenses”), the Trust is legally bound to use the principal amount of that donation only for the specific purpose you have mandated. Income generated from investing the corpus may be used for general purposes unless otherwise restricted by the donor.
3. Tax Exemption (80G Benefits)
- Shri Sant Eknath Maharaj Charitable Trust is registered under Section 12A and has received provisional approval under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
- Donations made to the Trust are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G, subject to the conditions specified in the Act and the validity of our registration.
- To claim this deduction, donors must provide their Full Name, Address, and PAN Number when making the donation. Failure to provide these details may prevent us from issuing the required Form 10BE certificate.
- The official donation receipt and Form 10BE (issued annually) will be sent to the email address provided by the donor.
4. Donation Receipts
- A formal donation receipt will be issued for every donation received and sent via email/whatsapp upon successful transaction confirmation.
- Please ensure you provide a valid email address/whatsapp number.
5. Refund Policy
- Donations once made are generally non-refundable.

6. Payment Gateway
