Strategic Plantation Plan in 2025
The initiative is uniquely structured to involve the community over several months, ensuring focused efforts in different parts of Dharashiv district. The detailed schedule is as follows:
- May 2025 – Osmanabad: Kicking off the drive with a vibrant start in Osmanabad, where early spring conditions are perfect for young saplings.
- June 2025 – Kalamb: As the summer approaches, Kalamb will witness a burst of green as new trees are nurtured to maturity.
- July 2025 – Washi: Mid-summer brings the planting of trees in Washi, contributing to a cooler micro-climate and improved air quality.
- August 2025 – Tulajapur: With the monsoon winds, Tulajapur is set to benefit from increased water availability, ensuring healthy growth.
- September 2025 – Bhum: Post-monsoon, the focus shifts to Bhum, where revitalization of the land will help absorb excess rainfall and prevent soil erosion.
- October 2025 – Paranda: As the weather turns crisp, Paranda will be transformed with fresh, robust plantations, supporting local biodiversity.
- November 2025 – Omrga: Early winter in Omrga will see the planting of hardy species that can withstand colder conditions, ensuring year-round green cover.
